LifeNet staff had the opportunity this year to participate in the Malvern School District’s Back-to-School Bash held on Thursday, August 16, 2018 at Claude Mann Stadium.
In addition to having an ambulance available for students to tour before they entered the stadium, LifeNet staff was also on hand to teach students how to do bystander CPR.
LifeNet is committed to improving the chain or survival with free education provided at events throughout the communities we serve.
According to a study published in The Journal of the American Medical Association, bystanders who perform compression only CPR until an emergency medical services (EMS) crew arrived at the scene instead of traditional CPR with mouth-to-mouth resuscitation save more lives.
